I've eaten leopard shark, its actually quite good. It's like a six gill shark, bleed-gut-skin as quickly as possible. It is a mild meat very similar to thresher shark. I just rarely catch a legal keeper.

Lol you dont need to gut it right away. Bleeding sure. Soak it in a lemon brine solution for a few hours then fry it in butter with you favorite seasoning.
I wonder what Soupfin taste like.... Oh, and steaking it is better. Cook the whole steak and the skin will peel off after its cooked.
