Long Beach area rocks. Make day of it and get yak parts and BBQ too.
Just 8 mi. south of the meet is OEX Sunset Beach on PCH and if you head that way, get rockin' BBQ and some craft brew at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach on Main off PCH, or eat closer at their other store, 3.3 miles, in Long Beach. 'Could be wrong, but I seem to recall some yak fishermen like beer and BBQ.
