Da Thresh Kine. (Non-Kayak Report)
Thanks to my girl for getting me a new fishing hat. The moment I hooked up, the wind died off, and the sun was beaming down at 91°, so my new hat kept me safe from those powerful sun rays. Fight time: 40mins. Rod & Reel setup: CalStar 800MH, Avet MXJ w/30lb mono + 100lb leader. Bait: Live Sardine. Species: 7'0" EST.60lbs. Location: Pacific Ocean.

I have seen several Threshers of the same size caught in that area. More than once on the pier.
Congrats. |
