As for the price, it was about the same as buying it complete from Andy, a little less. If you shop around, I'm sure you could get a better price on an item here or there, but then you have to shop around. I'm a one-stop-shop kind of guy. Plus, you can't beat the customer service.

Igloo drain plug
Since your inlet is on the top, you might want to add one of these near the bottom if you haven't done so already. I dump the 40# of bait tank water before landing.

As long as you still have juice in the battery at the end of the day, you can just throw the pump in the tank and disconnect the hose from the inlet to drain the tank. I think the technical term is reversebaitmosis.

Looking good bro! Great work!
I like those rivets with the plastic spreaders. Did you get those at OEX? Dan |

I agree with this 100% drain the water before trying to land or it could cause you to roll on the way in.

I'll have to do that. The yak was noticeably more top heavy w/the tank. Thank you! Quote:
I believe it was $25 Quote:
Thanks! It's a 1060. It fits the extra wiring, switch, and battery like a glove.

So, I am pretty much going to try and copy you to a "T" since your tank setup is legit. Would you mind snapping a close up of your battery box wiring? Of the toggle switch? I have my parts coming in Thursday and really need every advantage since building things is no where near my specialty! Also, are you running a fuse?
Thank you! ![]() |
