Dana PT 6/27

Up early. In the water early and was baited up and fishing at grey light. Hard to see stuff in the water, but I did notice something I hadn't seen before.

At the surface was many, many, many jelly like organisms. each section was about 1 inch and inside each segment appeared to be a rusty orange colored center. These segments were connected and some were as long as 1 ft.

Later in the morning the mysterious creatures disappeared. Go figure, they did not look like they can swim, seemed to float.

I didn't have my camera for an on the water shot, but found some caught up in the screen of my bait tank intake when I was packing up.

Any ideas?

The water cooled off, I was reading 61. I managed a few bass but that was it.

Jelly fish eggs? There's a ton of those out on the water right now.
