I run 30lb braid on mine. Depending on what I'm fishing for, what I'm using, and water conditions, dictates what size flouro leader I use. For spinnerbaits, long lining, or dingy water,15lb usually, never less. For swimbaits in clear water, or touchy fish, 10lb. For swimbaits in deep water like the Dana pipe or the Oside ARs or any deep stones, 15lb or 20lb. For calicos in the jungle, 20lb. I use a little longer leader than most. Usually start with about 15 feet except in the kelp. There I start with about 4 feet. I use only maxima flouro or Yozuri hybrid. But that's just me. Use whatever brand you feel comfortable with just make sure it's flouro. Experiment and dial in what works for you cuz everyone uses something different. Good luck and have fun.
