5-6 swells arnt that bad... I fished rock fish in 20 foot swells in moterey last summer when we were having those record swells down here. Was fun, like being on a rollercoaster all day.

GOING OUT IS EASE JUST KEEP IT STRAIGHT INTO THE WAVES. NOW COMING IN IN BIG SURF, JUST TYE ALL YOUR RODS DOWN AND STORE YOUR REELS . I HAVE NEVER MADE IT IN ALWAYS TOOK A BATH,GREAT ON A HOT DAY AND PROVIDES FUN VIEWING FOR THE TOURIST AND FOR THE BEACH CROWD
