Imagine halibut fishing on a kayak in alaska. Wonder if its possible to land a 200-300 lbs butt off a kayak.

I know when there that big the charter boats use a gun to kill it once its up to the boat...

I caught a 311# in Alaska on a very small skiff. Shot it 3 times in the head with a 38 before sliding it in the skiff. No way could I have gotten that fish on Yak, not sure I could have even fought it.

2. My Outback can handle some monsters!
