Launching and punching through waves that I have miss timed is when my reels get the most foamy sandy water exposure. Your right about flipping on the landing but if this happens and your reels are exposed nothing is going to help them.

With all the extras Im starting to take and install, Im starting to run out of room inside for more than three rods. Just exploring some options. Gotta get back to targeting one species in one area.
