How many of you have tried the Tequila or even seen it in person?

The manufacturer isn't home-rolling these in the garage. Point 65 makes some wicked kayaks, including foul weather touring kayaks and surf skis.

When assembled, there's no play between the segments (on the model I played with). There's more to it than interlocking shapes - the parts also strap together. I'm not afraid of it.

Keep in mind the single is only 10 ft long. That's far from ideal for an ocean boat. He'd be working far too hard to get anywhere. That's why your friend should consider other options first, not because it's a jigsaw puzzle. With the center section (the tandem), the Tequila is nearly 14 ft. I'd take it over an inflatable.
