your PFD(Life vest)
a radio maybe a dry bag if you get some pole holders go with scotty or ram mounts and get yourself some rod leashes Once you get the funds I would say get a bait tank first or make one then a fish finder every now and then OEX does a day on the water to where you can test drive some of their kayaks sometimes when you buy a kayak all rigged up yes it will be nice but you want something you feel at home something I always remember when I am buying a kayak long+skinny= fast short+fat= stable it all depends on what kind of fishing you plan on doing My hobie PA I can stand up in 3'-6' swells and take a piss no problem If you want to learn some great things read threw a lot of peoples forums If you want to watch some videos on youtube all about kayak fishing search yakintexas,ty southerland, 30milesout

I have never been on one. I have only used an ocean kayak and now my Hobie Pro Angler If you want to go with a brand new wilderness I would honestly tell you to go for a hobie revo or a hobie outback for almost the same price you get something that you peddle
