Jurrasic Sport Fishing (Yak Report)

We kicked off May 2012 cod season with a good first trip. Nelson, Kory and I hit the water in 6ft swells and a slight breeze but with big smiles. We got into the open water around 9am with myself hiting fish right off the bat on the Storm black and red eel 10 inches with trap hook. I was using a Shimano Curado 300 EJ for fun with a tiger ugly stick. Kory nailed a couple of nice fish and Nelson hit our first Red of the year and for the spot weve been fishing. I brought in a real nice 22 inch cabezon weighting around 9 punds and nelson red came in around the same length and weight. I had about 9 fish for some good taco meat and the guys had a good time. More post to come!!!!!!!!!!
