Thanks guys! It definately makes the sleepless nights and early mornings totally worth it.
That pic was me pretty much holding on as tight as I can. When I got him to the boat I gaffed him, brought him on board and removed the hook. I tried to reposition him over the mirage port in my hull to bleed him, and he slipped off the gaff and went over, thankfully he was too tired to swim down and I got hte gaff in him again as fast as I could. I wasn't letting go after that ![]() |

Congrats!
I recall my first WSB, I sat there for several minutes staring at it and listening to it croak, at least 30minutes passed from the time I landed it until I started fishing again.
