Grudens Gage fouls weather/splash pants.
I was wearing these when I was a 36, because I wanted them loose so my jiblets didn't feel bunched up while peddling. They're a 2xl, size 40 but they have a belt that tightens pretty well. I love these pants, so much so that I bought them again just in a size that fits. They have a nice little cargo pocket and zippers on the pockets. I wouldn't say they are 100% water proof like you could go swimming in them, but when I jump off the kayak in knee deep water, or walk it out in the surf in knee deep water, my pants underneath stay prettttty dry as long as the bottom are tightened. They resist rain and paddle splash like it's nothing. They're warm, and comfy, incredible light weight and as you can see from the pictures, the seams are all double renforced with plastic water proofing. They rince fish scales off well. I think I paid $59 at dana landing? Cheapest I could find online was 49.99 I'll take $35 since they're practically brand new. I live in Point Loma. I don't mind shipping, and it'll be pretty cheap but it's on your dime. |
