Bait Report: Oceanside
As soon as I place the yak in the water my FF ran out of juice. Tried to go out to AR #2 but no luck there. Came back into the harbor/basin and the water was boiling. Every where I went mak was jumping out of the water and Birds where diving in for some chow. There out a bay smelt BH to see if I can catch some sandies. Nope caught mackerel. Well if you need some bait Oceanside is the spot right now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AntuMXa8Pw |

Other notes on todays fishing trip. When heading out to a reef a guy flip on his kayak. One he didn't have a PFD, two boaters almost ran him over, and three no one would help him. So I ended up teaching him how to get back on his kayak took him awhile to listen to me.
Other story after taken the video of the mackerel. There where some guys on the jetty drinking and fishing. Hey power to them but they didn't know there limits. One guy casted and lost his footing went head first not into the water but on to a rock. Lucky he was hard headed and stood back on his feet and his friend was there to baby sit him. |
