Garmin GPS/MAP 540s Question?
So I have this Garmin GPS/Map 540s as a backup on my skiff. Is there any reason why this wouldn't work if I installed it on a kayak? Dose anyone have any experience (positive or negative) with this unit? I see RAM makes a rail mount for it that might fit the rail on the PA? Here's a link to the specs: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=8059 Thanks, Chris |

I have a 541s on mine...no problem! You just have to watch out for corrosion, just like any other fish finder.
