Coupe Schmoupe. Hahahaha.

This is how I transport on my wife's Beetle, because they never made roof racks for my 240SX.

The two yellow straps keep the yak from sliding horizontally. Front and rear straps keep the yak from sliding longitudinally.

This setup is solid to 75mph... never really tried to venture above that.

For reference, the yak is a Pelican 130T with a 36" beam and 13'0 length, so it's not a small yak by any means.

Thanks, I had to do SOMETHING to inject some testosterone into the car. My wife doesn't like to ride in my car because the stiff suspension forces her to either be uncomfortable or wear a sports bra.

So when we go out together, I often end up driving the Beetle.

Apologies for the hijack. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
