driftwood Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: SAN DIEGO Posts: 1,086	What a coincidence! I took a friend out, who has never been on an ocean kayak, the same day strictly for whale watching. At the last minute, i deciced to bring a couple of poles, just in case. landed back at the beach the with a 30lb YT. I saw you with your YT as someone took your picture. We dind't see any whales that day but heard there were some yesterday. Whales and no more YT.
