I'm sure the first encounter between surfers, kayakers and the nut cases will go down in history. Someone is going to get punched in the nose and it ain't me.

Crazies in Malibu who could of seen that coming?

From what I hear these are being left at launching sites and storage areas that are not even in a closed area. Could be some nutty enviro, then again it could be one of the equally nutty "locals only" crowd trying to scare others away from "their" favorite Malibu fishing holes.

Notes on your car, tags on your yak the bottom line is the same. If you're not doing anything wrong ignore these fools. If you get wrapped up in their BS you're just giving them what they want, and if you let it get to you it will make you just as crazy as they are.

Funny this is actually targeting the locals who just leave their yaks and boards piled up, so they don't have to lug them home..........these ARE NOT fishermen!

I'm sorry, but Marine Protected Area sounds so dumb.

Protected Marine Area sounds much better.

If you catch one of them why not call the police and have them file a report for defacing public property?

Nah......I'd rather punch-em in the nose

None of my surfing buddies believed me when I told them some of the Enviro crazies were trying to restrict not just fishing, but other ocean activities like surfing at Blacks, Laguna and the Ranch. I guess surfing at Malibu was on their list too.

I wonder what Surfrider thinks about that???

Gives me something to hope for. I would love to catch one of those a_ _holes putting a pink sticker on my yak. A good release of pent up aggression that would be.
One thing I hate more then a thief, and that's a "pink sticker", sticker.
