Why "lol" ... I understand there is a couple HDS5 models out there and it can range brand new from 450-5 to 700.

I dont know how new your friends hds is . I know I can get them brand new for almost 500.. I am a serious buyer and not trying to bullshit. I am new to buying a FF for my kayak and if I am out of line please tell me. Up for advise.

Jonginolfi - you can probably find a used one for $300 if you keep trying, especially because the price has dropped significantly from when many of us bought them. Add in the poor economy... etc etc, you can do it.

Side Note: Anyone have a 35' Skipjack they want to sell? I'll give you 3k cash today and take over your slip fees.
