My outback is ugly down under (scratched to hell). Not sure I should be worried or not. |

O.K. Ultras have replaceable keel guards.

My used prowler 13 has a little 21/2 inch segment in the back replaced because of that the old owner told me. But he said the wheels broke so he dragged it across the asphalt a few times which was not a long way maybe 10 feet cause he lived right behind newport harbor. Its all good now though and the repair looks like the original. I can post pics if you want.

Ha! That's me too. I cut a piece of plastic to fit the back of the keel (the length of my scratches) and duct tape that baby on. Kind of like a skid plate...? It's been in place for a while, my only offering is to use quality duct tape...

Keel Eazy update!
Well guys I went out to irvine lake with my newly installed keel eazy strip and it performed great and stayed on just fine. Looked perfect at the end of the day. This afternoon I took the ol' PA off the truck, and wheeled it to the back of the shop. I wanted to see what would happen if I dragged it across some asphalt a little.... so I gave it a test, lifted the back end up and dragged it back...probably 3"......to my surprise.....it burned right thru the strip!!!! Wow! I guess this stuff isn't as tough as I thought it was....I have some left over strips that I will reapply, and this time I won't drag it....
