I would not use a toggle such as that.
If you are in SD or Oside I am recommending you - at Least speak with OEX. Call the Santa Clara Store and speak with CJ or Brian. They can help. Andy is at the Oside store. ------------------------------------- Do it right the 1st. time. These guys see and rig more variety of Kayaks then any of us. |

I've had good luck with rivets when I am not able to get to the inside area of the kayak to apply a backing

I'll see what Rik (OEX KM) says this afternoon. I just hate how close my reels are to the water when using the flush mounts. Thanks for the advise!

There is a flush mount extension that solves that problem OEX.
