I approached bay fishing as I would approach fishing a lake for smallmouth bass: focus on the structure in key locations, such as channels, points, etc...
Also, use the same lures. www.plasticnavy.com has some good information. Kevin |

The SD Bay is big and has lots of good fishing and launch sites.
Depending where you live some spots are closer than others. You can easily launch from Shelter Island, a small beach next to the boat ramp, Glorittta Bay, or J Street marina in Chula Vista, on any given weekend you will see kayak fisher men at any of these locations. Have fun |
