Hahah, yeah I bet it was more then that.. I'm still amazed you went so far and was able to stick a good fish. Did you launch out of LJ or trailer it to a launch ramp?

2X

I had just finished work and watched the tuna take you for a spin. It was twice as funny in fast motion. I could just make out some of your comments. Made my day. LOL.

That school of tuna around you was insane too. Inspirational to other Kaykers. Thanks for the report! .

No trailer, just put it in the bed of the truck.

I should have taken all my shit talking and whining and edited them all in. I’m sure it would have been entertaining hearing me yell at a fish to just die already and to stop diving. Lol

Trolled lures through the foamers hoping for an easy hookup and they wouldn’t touch any of the newest, hottest lures or the old trusty ones.
Switched to irons, got cut off through my braid twice by the school. Got tired of re tying floro top shots on my jig stick so i Switched to my trollers, the Okuma SLX 20 with 65lb braid and 100lb mono wind on and tossed a salas 6x in chrome and got cut off, rigged my other rod which is its twin and came tight on a few fish then stuck one. The video tells the rest.

Here’s one with a full grown woman. She’s 5’4” , honestly could have spent a little more time growing
buddy on the left is 6’5” and I’m 6’7” . We’ve got a couple fish that dwarf us but not many.

If there's anyone that's able to accomplish this it's definitely this man here. I bet your heart was pounding when that foamer rolled up right next to you, mine was anyways. I thought you were in FL? Did you move back to Cali or are/were you visiting (excuse my ignorance, I'm off and on visiting this board)? Congrats on accomplishing the old man and the sea challenge with a triple digit bluefin, amazing!

Was the boat your friend or was it a random boat that came to watch the battle 👍. That was a stellar trip

I was excited for sure. We’d been keeping track of them for several days and I was finally able to get out early. First foamer popped up and I went in expecting 50lb class fish and was met with giants. Couldn’t get them to bite and they sunk out after about 15 mins of following them. I called my buddy (in the boat) and he was just launching and found another foamer on the way to my position and I went to meet them. Then we followed them up the coast. I ended up losing 3 and boating the one and they got I think 3 that day and many more the days leading up and after.
Im in California now. I was in Japan after Florida and now here again.
