My daughter loved fishing with red worms at Loveland Res in Alpine. She still calls it "Bluegill Bay". Fun hike down purdy, I can only imagine how low the water level is.

My son is two and he loves the bay cause he can jump in at anytime. If he holds the reel and takes a couple cranks before finding something else to peak his interest i call it a success.

Lake Jennings was always cool too, get a rowboat or fish the shore. I hooked and handed this LMB and Briani reeled it in......I just bought her first car for her couple days ago

May also try Santee Lakes. Grass right up to the edge of lake, play area for kids.

THank you for the suggestions I ended up going to Santee lakes we had a great time. Andy Its crazy how fast they grow thats an awesome picture!
