what is the biggest battery
that can fit inside bracket ? 8 amp ? or is it possible to put maybe a 10 amp ?

Hobie couples this with an 8 ah battery that I would recommend using because it is the perfect fit and the terminal ends are sealed and ready.

i also have the pelican case . the hobie setup is nice though . you can also drop it into the 8 " hatch if i am not mistaken . i was thinking maybe in the back to distribute weight a little bit . leaves me more room for my junk up front .

I just put mine inside a Sea to Summit dry bag and then clip the dry bag around the sail mast. Works like a champ so far.

Out of sight, out of mind.
Before Hobie came out with this holder, I just used a tackle tray.
I like the new setup but unfortunately, that is where I keep my tackle bag. |
