I guess I just figured I'd get a new O.E. switch, do all I can to salt proof it and replace it once a season if need be....seemed like the lesser of all evils. The switch bypass sounds like the most long term hassle free way to go though. What kind of plug are you using? Something simpler than the O.E. Hobie plug I'm guessing...I can hardly get it unplugged on my workbench...I don't how I'd do it on my yak. |

Has anyone tried to relocate the switch to a location that may make it easier to shield it from the elements?
