Unfiltered Sake is similar to the hefeweizen of beer, the fine sediments of the rice aren't removed.

It's a bit sweeter and creamier than traditional Sake which goes really well with a more spicy variety of foods.

Unfiltered Sake is called "Nigori"

Nigori is suggested to be sherved chilled, but I prefer it either way. With a hot meal I go cool, with a cold meal (sushi) I heat it up. It also is a nice contrast to a cold beer. It's like going back and forth between the hot tub and the pool.
