I liked the way the conditions were looking lately and had not been on the water in a week. I got out of work and headed for the launch. Incoming tide made for a LONGGGGG paddle out to the spot. The bugs didn't want to play at first. Then after a couple hours they turned on. Some good pulls and then all my bait was about chewed up. Just bones in the cages.
Talked to a couple bd'ers on the water last night and enjoyed another stoagie. Great conditions with no wind and pleasant temps. the tide made for a nice paddle back. Finished the night around 9pm and headed for the beach. Lots of just shorts (Clickers) last night. I did manage a few keepers though. Thanksgiving dinner here I come. Steak and lobster. Tired of doing the same old turkey thing for Thanksgiving. |
