Bait Tank Intake
What's up guys, so I am rigging my first Hobie, an Outfitter Tandem. As you guys know, the rear cargo deck is pretty small with no scrupper holes, but I'm able to fit a 12x12 inch crate and 5 gallon bucket for a bait tank.
My question is about the pump intake. Is an over the side submersed pump my only option? Does it really add that much drag? I was thinking maybe running a tube from the scrupper hole close to the rear seat with a check valve. Attached are pics of the crate and bucket after rigging it with rod holders etc. Thanks Last edited by Starsky; 09-26-2015 at 03:15 PM. |
