Ratdog, the preferred technique is having two of your buddies constantly razzing you while you talk them into grabbing the tail and roping it off. The "T" should be totally spent. I found it difficult to drag aboard and would not have been able to do it without help. CJ pretty funny we just talked about thresher and there it is. There was another one shore and heard about two others. If you are looking for one they appear to be somewhat available right now. It was actually hooked in the pectoral fin as corrected by support team, and hook was easily removed by hand. Paddled in in the posistion the shark is in the pic. due to weight distribution. Got nervous and inserted the bat in its mouth so as not to get an inadvertant chomp
