Our urban oriented schools and those anti-fishing, anti-hunting, PETA loving teachers (not every teacher of course) have done a poor job of educating our kids about nature and the fact that when you go hiking in the San Diego foothills you are entering the cougar's food chain, or when you go mountain biking in Montana you're entering the grizly's food chain, or when you hit the beach in California you're entering the White Shark's food chain.

Yes, we are prey items.

And you'd think an LA Times reporter would be more I nformed and educated. In case she or one of friends are reading this, read this report to get educated about what's going on out in the Big Blue.
