Another great day out on the big bay with Jarrod today.
The Spottys were on fire upon arrival & the entire day, too bad we only gave it a half day go..Wanted to get some time in before this next front..Throwing the same rig pearl Z-Man PaddlerZ, on a silver Slayers jig. (Clarity was off so I didn't throw the bad shad.) Toward the end of the day I got absolutely slammed working a sloping hill into a deep channel where live bait was popping. Working the bottom vertically two or three times to entice the marks below and POW! It was game on...got her to the surface and she was my biggest Spotty ever..fifty thousand head shakes, and it tore a hole big enough to come unbuttoned..I don't think she got the memo that clearly stated 'each & every Spotty shall be released'....
