The spoils of war.
When the fishin' goes good, the eatin' goes better.
![]() Some various Yellow Tail hand rolls, Sashimi and Tataki. A nice unfiltered Hot Sake and Sapporo. If you ever want to impress a lady, invite her over and have this waiting for her ![]() ![]() ![]() Then on day two Pan seared Halibut steaks in white wine, almond oil, minced garlic, fresh basil leaves, and some dried garden vegetable seasoning. A dash a Lawreys. Slow cooked on both sides, then a quick blazing hot seer on both sides after you let it rest for a moment. Laid over a bed of spinach reduced in a white wine garlic butter sauce. Long grain brown rice with a some diced Shitaki mushrooms, a light spring mix with some balsamic vinaigrette and a side of mixed veggies with a light drizzle of butter and salt. Throw in two bottles of Sauvignon Blanc and some candles..... ![]() ![]() I find it's also important to acknowledge the lives that were lost to make these meals possible. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Drake; 08-31-2012 at 12:30 PM. |
