I'm excited now. I can't wait. Andy who will be inspecting the Kayaks prior to launch and what time will that be? What time do you all recommend heading down there for parking?

Jimmy,

They will have volunteers check us off. We all launch from the beach just to the right of the boat ramp. They won't start until all boats entered are on the water, between 1st light and sunrise. Get there b4 6am.

LiveWell

Andy what are you using for a Livewell? I am going to rig up a cooler I have so that if I do catch some keepers they won't be cramped up in my bait tank.

Squid strips

I was reading the rules and it states that no fined bait are allowed on the boat before launch, but Squid strips are, are they talking like 5 strips, or what? I would mind having a little squid along for the ride.

I talked to Wayne about that,he said one tray of squid from market was fine.they are trying to discourage people that take 50lbs.he said they had people show up with a bucket of chopped up squid.

That's what I was thinking. I'm probably going to get a tray and have it all chopped before the tourney. That way I don't have to cut it on the water. Why do we have to wait a week? I want to fish now.
