I just picked up a gift certificate from Pacific Coast Bait and Tackle in Oceanside in the sum of.................

Hahaha..... I'm not telling.

You will all find out soon enough!

I will say this though, Walt the new owner was very generous and more than happy to support such a great cause.

PLEASE make sure to support the companies that are making this tournament so great!

95 Derwin Chang
96 Derwin Chang
97 Derwin Chang Now I'm really confused. Is this the same guy three times, or three different guys with the same name that just coincidentally signed up at the same time, or just a typo?
Anyway you look at it, we are going to be packing and stacking. 98 sign ups and counting! Only two more swag bags left. We may need to install stop and yield signs and signal lights on the water. Just remember if you guys see me coming, I always have the right of way.

So with the amount of participants did I read correctly that both sides of the beach will be open for launching?

HEROES ON THE WATER will be holding our own separate raffle on Saturday at the Mission Bay Classic.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN THE TOURNAMENT TO PARTICIPATE NOR DO YOU HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN!
To enter this raffle for a $50.00 gift certificate to Pacific Coast Bait and Tackle all you have to do is donate your old rods and reels to us. What we are looking for is bass type set ups that we can use for our events.

You will receive 1 (one) ticket for each rod and 2 (two) tickets for each reel you donate.

All rods and reels must be in decent condition and work properly.

This is a good opportunity to clean out your garage a little bit while helping us and another HOW chapter that needs equipment.

Bring your gear to the HOW tent in exchange for your ticket(s).
If no one is at the tent to help you please find me (Cbad Mike).
Tickets will be drawn along with the main raffle so you don't need to be anywhere different to win!
Once again..... YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN!!

We will also gladly accept any other gear and tackle donations that you may have.

Any rods and reels deemed to old, not in working condition or in anyway unusable to us will not be eligible for the raffle.
(Please no snoopy rods)

We had 80 people signed up by the day prior last year and 40 walk ups that morning........still looking for 150 entries this year! In the raffle we are giving away $3500 in merchandise that was generously donated to us..........so hoping we sell $2500 in raffle tickets at least! This is what it will take for us to reach our goal of $5000

FYI there will be no ties in the top 3 payouts, in over all weight tie in the bass division, winners determined by kicker fish, then second kicker if necessary.

We will be weighing in pounds and ounces

Andy, are there any restrictions on where we can park? I'm assuming that we can park on the other side of the ball fields in that larger parking lot, that's where I parked last time, in fact I can see my car in the photo that is being used. Someone told me the other day that they thought that they'd read somewhere that they (the City?) didn't want us parking over there. Can you verify if it's okay to use those spaces?

To my knowledge you can park in either lot. We are going to need it.
