I'm up for the DP routes, either the pier or SanO. The wind should be at our backs too. You guys pick the date, as long as it falls on a weekend I should be able to go. I have a truck and can carry another kayak and some equipment.

I do want to fish on the route though, and the time can fly if you find a good spot, so maybe the pier would do for starters. Just a thought. Or run right to SanO and fish there or something.

I can almost guarantee that there will be no other people from where I live. I was offering my truck to be left at the landing point so we can shuttle kayaks back to the launch since we can fit 8 yaks and 5 people

Now who would want a dana to san clemente pier trip?
And who would want a dana to san mateo rocks trip?

Put in your votes so i can set this thing up!!!!

Beach arrival just north of the pier at the parking lot @ Pico & PCH may be a good spot. I've been eying that to spot for a launch. There is sand but also a paved walk-way over the RR tracks and no rocks. Metered parking though. BUT free street parking nearby. So for those with trucks can park for free. While you retrieve your trucks to haul us back, the others can beer up and the 7-11.

Maybe we can coordinate a little BBQ back at baby beach or something?

If you're talking June 22 don't forget some of us will be just returning from the BWE "Islander" 2.5 day trip to SCI. Hopefully with bags full of & . I'll be home cleaning my gear & Yak and recovering. Now if you plan on something in August give me a holler. The Sierra's will be to warm for fly fishing & this year have no plans in August.

I think the interest has been lost as everyone is out chasing biscuits and cuders.

I'd be in for a Dana or Long Beach trip. Always wanted to hit up the oil islands.
When and Where?
