When The Boats Are Away The Kayakers Will Play
DVL is a kayakers paradise now. It's not the ocean but, being that it's two miles away from my house I'll make do. The bass fishing is going off right now. I found a cove where the bass/birds had the shad pinned in and were boiling/jumping out of the water like little tuna. Took awhile to find the right bait to use. But once found it was a fish every thrid cast. The stripers are starting to put on a show also. I was the only kayaker out and I saw a total of five rental boats out somewhere on the lake. I had a coyote follow me around all day, he would come within 10' of me. Just walking the shoreline with me as I fished.

Awesome! I was wondering if they would let the Sit-ins still launch.
