Kayakfish magazine video

Here is a link to a Kayakfish magazine article from Paul Lebowitz and Dave Shively that we did a few months ago. There is a link to a youtube video that is pretty good also.

Crabs

Thanks Tony and Blitzburg...that Crab is so much more flavorful than Lobster...a lot more work but worth it!

We had Rock Crab Spring rolls last night...DELICIOUS!!!

Flaked Crab Meat
Minced Cabbage
Chopped Bean Sprouts
Chopped Bamboo Shoots
Minced pickled Ginger
Chopped Green Onion
Grated Carrot
Chopped Cilantro
In a medium size bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well.
Place a few tablespoons of filling on a (lumpia) or spring roll wrapper...fold one end of the wrapper over the filling, then fold the two sides toward the middle, then roll the wrapper up and place it seam side down on a platter.
Once the rolls are completed they are fried in hot oil. Drain on paper towels and serve with some Plum Sauce and/or some spicy Chinese Mustard.
YUM!!!

Hi Jim,
After watching the video, I realized that we met once at Redondo (King Harbor) and you where very nice in teaching us on how to launch our tandem kayak, aswell as boarding safely from the mini dock. Thanks for the helpful tips that day.
