Hobie battery holder
The other way to mount the Hobie battery holder is attaching it to the sail mast post inside with the included hardware and clamp.

what is the biggest battery
that can fit inside bracket ? 8 amp ? or is it possible to put maybe a 10 amp ?

Hobie couples this with an 8 ah battery that I would recommend using because it is the perfect fit and the terminal ends are sealed and ready.

i also have the pelican case . the hobie setup is nice though . you can also drop it into the 8 " hatch if i am not mistaken . i was thinking maybe in the back to distribute weight a little bit . leaves me more room for my junk up front .
