Dialing in my Camo
I used #10 1" stainless steel screws instead of the 3/4" and it was fine.

They should come with the rectangle hatch standard. Will it fit the tackle management tray? Good upgrade either way.

What little space that is available becomes accessible with this upgrade. Good share. I see you even upgraded to the f-n sibiki anti snag pocket holders.

Looks good, nice and clean!
When I installed the rectangular hatch on my Outback I was pretty nervous, I measured my lines 56 times. I recall cutting the hole small and slowly making it larger until it fit like a Magnum condom. I will have to assume that you typical gaff your fish on the left side?

Great work. Very clean.
The one thing I miss about the Malibu I had was the massive amount of storage. Those larger hatches really are the bees knees... |

Transducer cover
Remove Transducer cover >> three screws <<< run some anti seize on them . Hobie runs them in DRY Stainless in brass / bronze. . Mine has burrron heads in counter sunk cover . This a new 2017 stupid in my opinion right from dealer .

You do this because of the fact that they are dissimilar alloys and will react with each other? |

A little protection never hurts, but according to the "Anodic Index" stainless and brass/bronze are compatible and acceptable for use in harsh environments.

From Hobie? Shirley, you jest.
Hobie marketing policy is to configure their kayaks with lots of things you will want to remove and replace with upgrades .... turbofins, rudder, rectangular hatch for gear, a plastic tackle bucket that deforms and falls into the hull, etc., etc. Gue$$ why, LOL.
