Fished the middle shift today.. Launched around 10am to flat surf and little wind. Meet Adi for the first time and was greeted with some hand-me-down macs. It was pretty lifeless out there. No bait/bird action and not much current. Some T's were caught by PBers chummin the hell out of em but that was it. Fished the kelp in a half-hearted attempt for anything and came up with nada. Off the water by 1:45pm. Wish I had more to report, maybe next time:rolleyes:

Dorado50,
Was that you in the blue yak last Sunday? |
I was out there a couple of days in a row, had my mornings free and I went for it hoping for big fish, something I haven't caught in a while.
Beautiful conditions, light southernly swell, hardly any wind, some uphill current, water in 60-61, visibility 10-15 and improving, no surf at the launch… I haven’t seen any bird action… Mighty healthy kelp is there, going strong… Bait was easy at the pier early under the lights for a couple of days now. Nice finally meeting you Nate, good seeing everyone. :kayak-surfer: |
Same story for me the past two nights. The current was definitely movin' for a while tonight, but no action. Several guys out but no fish.

Nice night for a paddle. Even the divers struck out today. Still knocking off the rust and a few #'s at the same time. No fish. Soon.

Thanks for the reports guy's
