This permit was caught off Boynton inlet, Fla. There just happened to be a fishn' tournament that started that day. After the weigh in and a three day event it won Largest Permit, Best catch from shore, best catch on 25lb test.

These were caught on Lake Worth pier in the summer of 1973. I started fishing there with my older brothers in the mid-late 60's. The locals nick named me "hippy" cause I had hair down to the middle of my back, bare foot, cord pants, no shirt, and a leather visor.
