Isn't it a little early for the annual GW sighting??? Or is there a killer bite going on.

No, It's a real sighting, and it does not surprise me at all. Cool waters, plenty of food in the waters, I would not be surprised if it were true, and if there were more out there.

THAT, would be a nice ride for sure.

I was out in La Jolla last weekend with Old_Rookie and we never saw what was pushing all the bait to the surface. It's possible that GW may have been in the area. However if that would have been the case I think the Dolphins and the Sealions would not have been out there in the mix.

If you hear someone yell Shark lift your feet out of the water.

my buddy saw one yesterday while we were surfing at Rincon (about four feet between the dorsal and caudal fin).......we forgot to notify the news crews but that may have helped with the crowd factor
