this is the one I use it was in my budget at the time when I was looking and fits me great! I'm 6'2" 225#

I like it For what it does and the price point.

I use the Kokatat Bahia Tour
It makes a good fishing pfd and fits me well (6'0" - 240 lbs) The front pocket is the perfect size to hold a marine radio, and there is a pocket behind it to hold a knife or pliers.
I figure that if I end up going overboard - everything I need will be in one place and going with me. I'd hate to end up in the drink with the VHF in the boat as it blows away in the wind...

In term of fish the most important thing to look at is the arm pit area; make sure it's nice and open for natural movement.

Go to a shop that has a variety. Try them on, sit on the floor and go through the paddling motions. If it is not comfortable you won't want to wear it.

well I'm 5'4 200lb's and use a NRS CVest, It's a bit cheaper than a Kokatat. But has almost the same layout.

I use Stohlquist Fisherman PFD - very handy for a serious kayak fisherman!

Santee is San Diego East County. About 15 miles east of Mission Bay. Next to El Cajon and Lakeside.
