Light crowd, light wind and all you want mackerel. Got out early and traded beer for some squid. Soaked one on the dropper loop while working the Tady deep iron. Every drop came up with greenies and I got tired of re-baiting. Made a move around 9am to the beaver grounds for nada. Wind wasn't working for me. It was either blowing in the wrong direction or not at all. TONS of bait. Had a few squid shape-shift on me and turn into either mackerel or a sardine. Sardines were thick as well. It's been a weird last few weeks. I'm curious to see what unfolds in the next few days. Good luck to you weekday warriors. See ya next Sunday.

Worked LJ all weekend

Tried macs, live squid and irons. All I caught was more bait. Nice to be on the water though. I have a nice tan and some sunburn.
I caught dozens of macs throwing the iron. Wish those things grew to 50lbs!! That would be insane.
