Dorado

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I pulled up a glowing blue-purple orb in the water last Saturday. What a crazy year we’re having it really is all time, one for the records books. I’m blessed and so thankful that my mom sent me a beautiful Dorado and I sealed the deal in the end. Dorado are some tough ass fish with some thick skulls. Can’t wait to see what else is going to happen this year from a kayak. Wahoo and Marlin?

Now I've friekin seen it all. This one takes the cake! This wasn't some 6 mile voyage, you are inside the point and past the "corner" of the white building.

I don't comment much on the normal YT, but this is amazing!

I don't know how you stayed so calm taking a sip of beer during the fight and then f'ing around with the GoPro on the gaff. Not sure I could have risked losing a fish of a lifetime with all that BS, but you pulled it off! Wow!

Good going!

Sick vid, rad gaff cam, and the dorado double at the end is quite appropriate!

OMG!!!! Congrats!!!!

I caught one about 10 miles out of LJ on a PB on Tuesday (great with garlic butter), but to get one on a kayak!!!! Right at LJ!!!! Amazing, just amazing. And a yt as well!!! That's the day!

What an incredible jewel we have right here!

ps... caught 9 yellowfin tuna with my son about 7 to 10 miles out... every bait was hit on the right paddy.

What a year! And Chris (ctfphoto) caught a 40 pound halibut a few days ago... just unbelievable. Again Congrats!!!!! Thanks for posting...

wow. I do think we need an "exotic thread" for all the YFT, BFT, Dodos, Wahoo, sail fish, etc. Just to remember how good it was in 2015.

Who's next?
