Yes- had a great time and Congrats to all that won, and participated.

I do feel that it is time to add a pic to my avatar, and yes - for the time being, that IS a skunk in my pic.

Who would have thought that Billy V would almost make it in the money with a 2 pound greenie. 150 boats and only five fish, (not counting Billy's) at the weigh-in. Wow!

I am not claiming a skunk today. I caught bait and two sea lions. Hooked them good too. I bet their mouths are a little sore tonight. Serves them right for stealing my best bait.

Despite the poor fishing, this event was very enjoyable. Thanks to Jim, Matt and all the others who helped put this together. This was my first Moyer. I will certainly be back again next year.

Ouch that sounds pretty slow. Should of come down and fished for halibut. How big was the top fish?

Great tourney with or without fish. There were several large fish caught that did not count. Lots of folks fished Halibut all day all over for nada. I spent half the day not catching YT and the other half not catching Halibut.

Big Thanks to Matt , Jim and Family for making this tournament possible.
You guys are some of the most righteous people I know.

I hope this tradition continues forever.
--------------------

My total on the day was 2 Bonito and 3 Mega Macks , all on irons.
They were so big I didn't dare pin one on as bait. That big thresher seemed to follow us all day and I didn't want any part of him.

That Mack wound up being a $50 fish

Thanks for the props Dave!!! Lucky was the word of the day for me.

I knew that sucker was on the small side when I hooked him but he looked north of 10lbs. For awhile, I was really regretting bleeding him out as I was nervously imagining him weighing only 9 lb. 11 oz on the scale.

I pre-fished Friday and sighted alot of YT so I knew they were out there and I even spooked a couple puddlers before I hooked up. I was one of the first ones out fishing past the condo but the large mob was migrating south and I knew that wouldn't help me catch fish. What really screwed it up in my mind was the New Seaforth cruising right into the area before heading into deeper water. I guarantee most of those dogs that were harassing everyone came off the New Seaforth's stern.

That was the hardest 45 minute kick back but when Paul Lebowitz told me I had the first fish on the beach.....

Thanks again to everyone who made this event possible!

A big thanks to everyone at the tourny

The tournament yesterday was a huge success even with some tough fishing. Thanks sponsors, everyone that entered and all our volunteers for your help. I will have to count things up but I am sure we will be makeing a nice contribution to our friend Joel and to the American Cancer Society. Mark your calanders for the same weekend next year.
I will get a full report and photos up soon but today I think I will just sit and watch football with a smattering of baseball. It was a looooong day yesterday for everyone and again thank you all for supporting our event.
