2 Juvenile White Sharks Released,Manhattan Beach Pier

Two juvenile great white sharks were released off the California coast on Wednesday.
The two juvenile sharks were caught off the Manhattan Beach pier and were later released by the Roundhouse Marine Studies Lab and Aquarium.
Experts said a possible reason the sharks have been sighted in the area is because of an abundance of squid.
There have been more great white sightings off Southern California now that the animals are federally protected, according to shark experts. Despite the increase, a recent estimate states that there are fewer than 350 adult great whites off the West Coast.
