I Hate Halibut!!!

Yesterday alone I was on the water for 14 hours for not so much as a raked bait. I did not think that was possible. I have wasted many days looking for them this month. I tried everything from bounce balling to 3 way to carolina to dropper loop.....you get the picture. Green backs, sardines, and squid have all spent their time on the the end of my hooks to no avail.

Here are the subs. In order of when they were caught.

WSB 43 lbs and looks better in the first pic I failed to upload. Caught with, what else, squid. Weighed at OEX Oceanside, thanks Drew.

YT 31 lbs, squid, this guy admittedly kicked my a$$. Funny if it wasn't in front of the competition. Weighed at Dana on the certified with attached slip.

Halibut???? Still swimming. Feeding on whatever, and pissing me off.For now.
